WHEN ACCESSING MY TASKS LIST
All scheduled tasks assigned to the user and their associated information are displayed on the MY TASKS LIST page.
If there is no tasks scheduled and assigned to you, you should not see data in this page.
The arrows button
at the top right enables a full-screen view of this page. How to navigate through My Tasks List
This view allows the user to quickly visualise his/her own tasks and allows the user to do the following:
Start Button | Updates the Start Date & Time and the Task Status from Open to in Progress |
Stop Button | Record the End Date & Time and updates the Task Status from in Progress to Completed |
Comment field | Free text can be added/ edited any time |
Assign to me | Assign a task from a colleague to yourself |
The Comment field can also be edited directly from this page by:
- Click directly on the corresponding cell to enter a text. Saving will be done automatically.
Alternatively
- Click on Edit and only the comment column will be highlighted, then enter in the corresponding cell to write a text. Saving will be done automatically.

The data displayed in each individual column provides a range of information for every scheduled task.
- Some data like the duration of the task, Task Type, Task Code are coming directly from there configuration of your tests.
- Some data like instrument and employee are showing which ones have been scheduled by the engine fro their corresponding instrument / competency groups
- Some Data are generated during the scheduling process like Task ID, Request ID
Data related to the scheduling are:
Task Start Scheduled | Facilitated by the engine once scheduling is performed. This cannot be edited |
Task End Scheduled | Facilitated by the engine once scheduling is performed. This cannot be edited |
Start Date | Date and time when the Task Status is updated from Open to In progress |
End Date | Date and time when the Task Status is updated to complete |
Expected Completion | It is initially the date and time as Task End Scheduled.
This date is updated in conjunction with the start date update and is calculated based on the duration of the task |
Initially, when using Optima, a comparison between Expected Completion and End Date could be extremely useful in order to better estimate the effective duration of the tasks. How to customise and filter the My Tasks List View
From the Action Menu, a wide range of actions allows the user to generate interactive reports or specific views of tasks-related data.
Columns: change order of the column, choose to display or not a specific column.
Data: sort specific columns by ascending or descending order
Report: save your personal preferred view
"Assign to me" Feature
You can also see tasks that have been assigned to a colleague with similar competency within a test.
In the "Assign to me" column, you can assign the task to you and start performing it.
