How to work with the Report "Laboratory Performance"


This report allows the user to show the ability of the laboratory to respond to the requests efficiently. The report refers to data related to tasks and requests.

Data used to generate the report

From the data present in the tasks list, the system automatically retrieves and uses the following pieces of information:

  • Task start

  • Task end

  • Task completed

  • Scheduled task start

  • Scheduled task end




From the data present in the Scheduling Requests, the system automatically retrieves and uses the following pieces of information:

  • Start date

  • Completion date



Computed values

The values ​​calculated in the report are:
Delayed completion = (Task completed - Task end)
Delayed start = (Task start - Scheduled task start)
Programmed delayed end = (Task end - Scheduled task end)
Delayed scheduled start = (Scheduled task start - Start date)
Delayed scheduled end = (Scheduled task end - Completion date)
Delayed start from request = (Task start - Start date)
Delayed end from request = (Task completed - Completion date)
Delayed completion compared to scheduled end = (Task completed -Scheduled task end)

How to read the report

The output is a multi-function report, made out of three parts:
  1. The upper part of the report is composed of a series of charts showing the distribution of the performance for the computed values in either a bar chart or a pie chart.
  2. The bottom part is containing a report with the list of the tasks, including the computer values.
  3. The the right-hand sidebar allows the user to filter the information using the different fields according to the needs.

From the right-hand sidebar the user can make use of the filter to display the requested information in real time, both in chart and list view.



Configuration

Delay levels

The system administrator must configure three delay levels to display the calculated data in different colors

  • Level 1 - minor delay (i.e. 1 day)

  • Level 2 - Significant delay (i.e. 3 days)

  • Level 3 - Major delay (i.e. 5 days)

The calculated data will be divided into four groups:

  • Below level 1

  • Between level 1 and 2

  • Between level 2 and 3

  • Above level 3
