| Batching Samples | The first step of the Optima engine is a series of checks that verify the quality of the data and its logic in order to batch all the samples listed in the request form according to the criteria defined by the laboratory. |
| Task Duration | The analytical tasks are now configured in more detail so that the duration of a task can be adjusted by the number of samples assigned to a batch. The duration is calculated according to a user-defined formula. |
| Task Duration Split | This option provides the ability to specify whether a step can be split into 2 different slots based on a % value indicating the proportion of the first slot. This is used to tell the engine how to proceed if no slot is available for the entire duration of the step. |
| 4 | Timelines & Reschedule | The three timelines [ Project, Instrument and Employees] display the corresponding list in a particular timeframe. By clicking on the blue bar, a new feature facilitates the complete rescheduling of a project timeline or assignment to another instrument / employee. |
| Custom Parameters | This new function allows to customise the definition of any object in the system. |
