My Tasks List & Features

 

HOW TO REVIEW THE TASKS ASSIGNED TO YOU

All scheduled tasks assigned to the user and their associated information are displayed on the MY TASKS LIST page.
If there is no tasks scheduled and assigned to you, you should not see data in this page.


HOW TO NAVIGATE THROUGH MY TASKS LIST

This view allows the user to quickly visualise his/her own tasks and allows the user to do the following directly from this page:

 Start Button
 Updates the Start Date & Time and the Task Status from Open to in Progress 
 Stop Button
 Record the  End Date & Time and updates the Task Status from in Progress to Completed
 Comment field
 Free text can be added/ edited any time

INFORMATION DISPLAYED for each TASK

The data displayed in each column provides information for every scheduled task. 
  1. Data such as Task ID is generated during the scheduling process.
    1. The Task ID is unique to each task scheduled
  2. Data such as the Duration of the task come directly from the step configuration. 
  3. Data such as Instrument and Employee show those scheduled by the engine and selected from the competency group and instrument group assigned to the step.
  4. Data related to the Timing of the scheduled task are:
 Task Start Scheduled Facilitated by the engine once scheduling is performed. This cannot be edited
 Task End Scheduled Facilitated by the engine once scheduling is performed. This cannot be edited
 Start Date
 Date and time when the Task Status is updated from Open to In progress
 End Date
 Date and time when the Task Status is updated to Completed
 Expected Completion
 It is initially the date and time as Task End Scheduled.
 This date is updated with the start date update + duration of the task

CONFIGURE YOUR PREFERRED TASKS LIST VIEWS


From the  Action Menu, a wide range of actions allows the user to generate interactive reports or specific views of tasks-related data. 
Columns: change order of the column, choose to display or not a specific column
Filter: per columns / row
Data:  Sort, Compute, Aggregate 
Format: Rows per page allows you to shorten or increase the number of rows per page
Report: Save your personal preferred views
Download: in CSV, HTML, Excel, PDF formats

Idea
As the application is responsive, some of our users configure the view to a limited number of columns for easy access with their mobile device.

HOW TO CREATE A NON-ANALYTICAL TASK

From My Task page the CREATE button offers the possibility to block slot in the agenda of a person with  Non-analytical Tasks.

The engine considers those slots unavailable for scheduling analytical activities.

Enter the following information:

 Task Type
 This mandatory field allows you to categorise your activities and it is used for reporting purposes
 The list of task types for your analytical activities can be defined  in Setting

 Task Code & Task Description  
 those field are here empty and allow free text. 
  It is highly recommended to provide some information about the task, as this is the first details visible in the Calendars

 Task Status
  This mandatory field shows the progress of the task: OPEN, In Progress, Completed
  The list of tasks status and its colour can be defined in Settings.

  Project
  Indicate if the newly created task should be assigned to a specific project (if applicable to your system configuration)

  Start Date and End date
  Required to book the slot in the agenda of the employee selected in the last field of this form.

  Employee
  Select the employee to be assigned the task
